What files do we support?

Millions of types! More specifically: .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, .ppt, .doc, .avi, .mov., .flv, .mkv, .wmv, .mp4, .pdf. Coming soon: audio files! Also coming soon: a newsletter sign up so you can be notified of product updates!

Is my account secure?

We take privacy very seriously. Since you sign in through Twitter, all your information lives in your Twitter account, so their privacy policy is our privacy policy. Click here to read Twitter’s stance on privacy.

Can I partner with Tweetshare?

Absolutely! If you are a business (or group or team), you can make your own branded Fan Page.

Do you have APIs?

We can barely stand the suspense – waiting for API’s to be released. But we have to. They’re coming soon.

Did you really hire the Kristen Isaacs?

We did. She’s practically famous and feel lucky to have her. Her impeccable fashion sense and flowery aroma make her a pleasure to walk by on the way to the facilities.

Will Tweetshare always be free?

Of course there will always be a free option! We may add premium Fan Pages later, but we’re not going to give you something for free and then try to charge you for it later. That’s not cool. (We’re cool.)

How do I delete a file?

You’ll need to delete the entire discussion.

How do I delete a discussion?

Great question!

But, just a rule of wing (Mr. T. Sharebird doesn’t have thumbs), think before you Tweet. The interwebs have a long memory…even when things are deleted.

Can I get this on my mobile phone?

Did you mean your iPhone? Yep! Just go to the app store and download! Did you mean your other phone? Not yet. Stay tuned.

Do I have to Upload a file to start a discussion?

Negatory. You can also embed a file from SlideRocket, SlideShare, DeviantART, Screenr, or YouTube. But…you do need to embed or upload if you want to post a discussion.

How do I embed a file?

Go to the site with the content and find the embed link. It’s different on almost every site but it usually starts with <object width…. Copy the embed link and post it in to Tweetshare.

When I comment, does it have to roll out to my Twitter feed?

Yes. Since we’re using Twitter’s ????? all the info goes through them. But, don’t be sad! That’s what’s so fun about the site. Having opinions and Tweeting about them!

Will my posts show up on my Twitter feed?

You betcha!

Every letter is precious! Why is my character count so low? <object width=

We KNOW. And we care. If you see that you have less than 140 characters to comment, then the missing remaining characters are used to generate a shortened link back to the discussion. This is what allows us to track the discussion in Tweetshare.

What if I don’t have a Twitter account?

I don’t understand. Why would you not….ooooooh. Go sign up for one!

Can I keep my discussions private so only my followers can see them?

Not at the moment, but it’s coming.

What’s next for Tweetshare?

So much good stuff! But for now, it’s a seeeeecret. Shhhh.
